Christopher Kizina, MD
Dr. Kizina is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Temple University, he completed an internship in General Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY. He then underwent residency training in Anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at The Institute for Pain Medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He obtained extensive training in both interventional and non-interventional techniques to treat a wide variety of chronic pain conditions. Dr. Kizina's particular interests include pain related to cervical and lumbar spine disorders, neuropathic pain and the techniques used to treat these disorders such as radio frequency ablation and spinal cord stimulation. Prior to joining AIPM, Dr. Kizina practiced both pain management and anesthesiology at Aria Health System in Philadelphia, PA and with Middletown Anesthesia Group at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. On a personal note, he enjoys traveling, physical fitness, classical music and playing the violin.
